Health Options has expanded its telemedicine offerings to include a COVID-19 Consultation service. It enables you to confer with Amwell healthcare providers who can assess your risk for the coronavirus illness. The service is available through Health Options Online, which is accessed from within the Member portal. You may choose to connect with a provider by telephone or by video, using a smartphone, tablet, or computer. Due to the pandemic, COVID-19 consultation services are being offered to Members at no cost.
Behavioral health support is also available through the Health Options Online telemedicine service. You can choose between two practice sites, one for psychiatry and another for counseling, to obtain help with a range of mental health and substance use disorders. Cost sharing may apply. Some Health Options plans have the benefit of no out-of-pocket costs for the first three mental/behavioral health visits; check your health plan for details.
