Travel with peace of mind, backed by a new national PPO network
Community Health Options has teamed up with Cigna Healthcare® to give its national plan Members access to one of the largest and most recognized provider networks in the country, without changing the coverage they already count on, the company announced today.
This new agreement gives all Members on a national plan access to the Cigna Healthcare PPO Network*, which includes more than 1.6 million healthcare providers and nearly 6,400 hospitals and health systems across the United States.** This includes access to the national Evernorth® Behavioral Health Network.
Cigna Healthcare replaces First Health® as the company's national wrap network effective Sept. 1.
"Our national plans give our Members access to dependable, in-network care wherever they are in the United States," said Kevin Lewis, CEO and president of Community Health Options. "This new relationship makes finding care more flexible and convenient, whether Members are traveling outside of our New England network on vacation or spending winters elsewhere, have a child away at college, or work for one of our group clients in another state."
